what to expect
Being in front of a camera can feel a little intimidating, especially with someone new. I’ll take time to get to know you, answer your questions, and help you feel at ease.
Most of the day, you won’t need to think about the camera at all. I’m watching for the glance, the reaction, the inside joke, and the moment that’s about to happen.
I’ll step in when a little direction will make the photograph stronger, then disappear back into the background. You get to stay in the moment. I get to catch it as it unfolds.
You live the day. I’ll notice what you might have missed. When we step away for portraits, I’ll guide you through a few editorial moments, then send you right back to the party.
