Derek and Madeline love the beach, and couldn't wait to celebrate the lovely view and weather with their loved ones. Their organization during the planning process helped them fully ease into the day with a relaxed presence.

My approach for the day was largely focused on candid moments, as well as creating playful and romantic moments in their couple photos. I could tell they were enjoying the plans they put together, which helped them focus on the feelings of the day—their sweet first look, emotional ceremony, heartfelt speeches and importance of family.
